Montgomery College Now Offers Cosmetology Preparation Course for the Maryland State Board of Cosmetology Exam Registration Now Open Sessions Begin May 24
Prepare and review for the Maryland State Board of Cosmetology Exam in a new course at Montgomery College’s Workforce Development and Continuing Education. The course will provide students who have completed 1,500 hours of cosmetology training with an intense overview of the theory and the expectations of the practical exam. The two available courses begin May 24 and will be held at the Gaithersburg Business Training Center, 12 South Summit Ave., 4th Floor, Gaithersburg, Md.
The new Cosmetology Test Preparation for the Maryland State Boards course will review topics including cosmetology safety and sanitation, state laws and regulations, physical sciences, hairstyling, chemical service and applied anatomy.
The two courses offered are both 18 hours. The first course will meet six Tuesdays from May 24 through June 28, 9 a.m.–Noon in the Gaithersburg Business Training Center. The second course meets six Tuesdays from May 24 through June 28, 6–9 p.m.
