Montgomery College Professors to Demonstrate Popular Chemistry Experiments in Upcoming Spectrum Series Lecture “The Magic of Chemistry” takes place Nov. 16 at the Germantown Campus
To celebrate the International Year of Chemistry, faculty from Montgomery College will host “The Magic of Chemistry: Favorite Chemistry Demonstrations Performed and Explained” at the Germantown Campus on Wednesday, November 16 at 4:30 p.m. as part of the College’s 2011 Spectrum Lecture Series. The talk will take place in Globe Hall, which is located in the High Technology and Science Center, 20200 Observation Drive, Germantown, Md. This event is free and open to the public.
Following each demonstration, an explanation of the chemical principles underlying each experiment will be provided.
Like all Spectrum Lectures, this presentation is designed for a non-scientific audience, enabling scientists, students and the community to learn about ground-breaking advancements in science.
