Montgomery College-Germantown to Host Annual International Night

Talent Show to Celebrate Cultural Diversity, April 24

Students at Montgomery College-Germantown will host the fifth annual International Night on Friday, April 24 to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity. The event will take place in Globe Hall, located in the High Technology and Science Center on the College’s Germantown Campus, 20200 Observation Drive, Germantown, Md. Doors open at 7 p.m. with the show starting at 7:30 p.m.

Started in 2005, International Night is a talent show that celebrates the 170 nations represented by Montgomery College’s student body. The show has evolved over the years to include groups from all campuses and the local community. One of the highlights of the show is the “Fashion Walk” with students from around the world modeling fashions from their native lands.

Tickets cost $5 per person and can be purchased at the door. Proceeds from the show will go to Habitat for Humanity to help rebuild the hurricane-damaged Gulf Coast.

Public parking is available on campus for this event. For directions and maps of the campus, visit http://www.montgomerycollege.edu/maps/gvic.html.
